Re: [fast5] Re: Gallbladder just removed

Interesting. If eating earlier made the bloat go away in the morning, that tells

you something. Like, it has something to do with digestion. Maybe bacteria/yeast.

I did know someone who got a clostridium infection after surgery, and eating
*anything* was really problematic for him. He got rid of it using a tiny bit
of bentonite (1/4 tsp.) with meals. Bentonite is a bit of a cure-all for bacterial/yeast
problems. Konjac too. Both also help some people with digestion in general.
Sometimes they make the food digest SO well that you need psyllium with it
just to add bulk.

Bacterial imbalances happen a lot after surgery because
of the antibiotics they need to use, and clostridium has been in the news
a lot lately.

One easy experiment you can try: use a spoonful of Pepto Bismol after a meals.
Pepto regulates gut bacteria ... if it works that might point to what the issue is.
I don't think Pepto Bismol is good long-term, but for some people it's a quick
stopgap and easy to find.

Thanks much, Heather. I sincerely appreciate your feedback, all the time you took to compose your message, and the research you did.

It has been 4 days since the procedure and I'm extremely bloated. Some of the things I have been reading about that on internet health forums are alarming.

I called the surgeon and awaiting a call back.

I'm hoping this bloat goes away soon. I experienced that before the surgery, as well, but not like this.

What seemed to help with bloat in the past was to move my 5 hour eating window up to earlier in the day and eat nothing past 5.

Hard to do but I always woke up with a flat stomach.

Have a wonderful day, all!

Sincerely,

Willow
