That manager could have(and very well should have) been arrested on charges of assault! The Americans with Disabilities Act exists for a reason. Access to the disabled is not something that you can decide on your own to disallow. That is straight-on discrimination! That manager should be facing criminal charges!

Corporate America also has a responsibility to educate their managers and
staff about the rights of people with disabilities and about service animals
in particular. All the education from people with disabilities and/or their
families 1:1 isn't very helpful in the long run when you are dealing with
managers, like those in the story and without appararnet education from
their corporate office.
