My daugther has reallly had a rough few weeks. Her doc was attempting to change her medications from Keppra (which was causing anxiety and depressive symptoms) to Lamictal. It appears that she is allergic to Lamictal...broke out in a terrible rash all over her body. Then, he tried Zerontin (I think that is what it is called...the generic starts with an X) which caused a worse rash...all over her body and this one is systemic, moves from place to place, caused burning and pain in her feet and hands. She has had 3 shots in two weeks of a steroid and been on oral steroids now twice...I think we are done trying to change her meds. I was wondering if anyone else experienced allergic reactions to meds...and what they did about it.
