[epilepsy] FW: URGENT to California Parents; 16,000 CA Children need SB 161 to pass

 

Sb161 otherwise known as "the school Diastat Bill" is up for another vote
this Thursday in the CA Legislature. The Assembly Speaker is counting pro/
con calls. If we do not get his support the bill could die on this Thursday
morning in Assembly Appropriations Committee during Suspense File hearings.
The unions are doing every thing to kill the bill now including asking every
one they can find to call to kill the bill. Share with other Californians
and lets shown them this is not about more jobs like they want but most
importantly to save children's lives! Thank you so much!

Speaker Perez, Please vote Yes on SB 161. Some 16,000 students with epilepsy
who need emergency seizure rescue medications, such as Diastat, are at risk
of death or brain injury if you do not allow trained, volunteer non-medical
personnel to intervene in a life-or-death emergency.
