[epilepsy] A sad day with a new job that I lost with a lie

 

I have gone over 2 months without a seizure, have been searching for a job for over a year, found a great job as a chef for a retirement home but it required me to take care of inventory and do the shopping. I have a drivers license because I never told the govt about the seizures for over 20 ys. I have been working only 1 week and have been feeling uncomfortable about the risks on others if I drive again. And so they had to release me because the grocery shopping was a major part of the position and there was no one else. Now honesty has reduced the risk to other drivers but badly hurt this home where they have been trying to replace this position for over a month as the present chef is moving on to other work and had only stayed to help out until they found a replacement that could do both jobs.
