I think you have a good point. My Drs. did tell me, but not in much
detail, just what they had experienced with their patients. My nuero
psych tests from before and after surgery showed that I lost 14 IQ
points from having my RTL. I was pretty surprised!!! Just to make a
point (not to brag) I had an IQ before starting to have seizures of
near 130. When I had my first nuero psych test before surgery it was
126, after surgery 112. I cannot imagine having lost that many IQ
points from before seizures to after surgery had I had an IQ below 110.
I would now have and IQ of somewhere around 90. I am just thankful that
I inherited my dads IQ!!
