Hi, I am Jewl The owner of the group. I try my best to make sure spammers do
not get into our group. I and the moderators approve anyone before joining.
If they do not state a reason Why they want to join, I moderate the messages
until I see that yes they do need help with epilepsy. but A lot of times
peoples accounts get hacked.
When I see a spam like you mentioned I contact the person and tell them that
they have been sending spam either by mistake or hacked.
If it continues than I moderate the messages for a couple of weeks in
between trying to get in touch with the person. If I still receive messages
after three weeks than I remove that person from the group.
I always ask people to Please put a little info about the link so people
will know that it is not spam.
Thanks for letting me know there is a little hole in my game plan.

Does everyone in the group have a problem with all the spamming(I
hope). Because I want to be able to read about something related to
epilepsy, not someone trying to sell/pitch something that isn't even
remotely related to epilepsy.
