Hi Kelly
Skills like those of musical ones and many others too, are so deeply drilled in our brain I don't think
anything could take it away from you. I play also (not drums though) and if haven't played for a while all it
takes is a few notes on the piano or whatever and away I go as if have been doing all while. I play by ear
and have tried lessons but once I hear something my fingers just go where they go. She didn't keep me long :))
Keep it up as it can sure be something to help you relax. You can get off in your own little world and
nothing around you can come close. Great therapy.

Millie,
I was a manager for high volume specialty retail, Bath and Body Works.
I was on track to be a district manager, which is what I wanted. The
year I got sick my store did over 3 million in business.
No I am not having seizures. I will not, however, say I am seizure free
unless I am not dependent on meds. I won't be able to find that out
because my pain made me unable to drop the trileptal, it just wasn't
going to work.
I am finding things to replace my career, but it's not the same. My
son, 10, is attending a virtual academy for school (long story) so I am
his at home learning coach. Also, I play drums, I love it. Don't ask
me how it is that I can't remember what day it is sometimes, but I can
remember the drum line of almost any song. None of those are going to
replace my career, but it does give me something to excel at.
