Re: [epilepsy] Re: Terrible Day!

She is now at another hospital which is higher up such as it is the hospital the college where I live is associated with.  But she is on a feeding tube, I see my sister using a suction tube to suction the saliva from her mouth but I'm currently with one of my sisters, and her husband, and my brother in law had a stroke a while back but said that was a bleeding stoke while my mothers was not.  She had such high blood pressure which she would not take medicine for where as far as my sister has said caused this.  I went home to get important documents with my brother in law, and a fish tank we purchased.  For now all I do is pray to The Lord.

Re: {Disarmed} RE: {Disarmed} [epilepsy] I am closing group or someone else can have it

I plan to stay in the group also. My seizures were caused by stress or hormones 21 years ago and I have had seizures clear up until January until now which is the end of May and I haven't any at all since then and I haven't even felt that way and I have been feeling great and having no stress.  Before that all happened I had a full blown aura , which never happened before without a seizure coming on and this was the first time I could actually tell my husband about the aura, he could tell I was having it, but no seizure came on and after a while the feeling went away. I told the doctor and he said this could mean a change was coming in my seizures or stop them. I am 62 yr. old and maybe I am thru menopause, I don't know but I hope this is the end of them. That was the day before Thanksgiving and I figured he wouldn't be in the office.  But he was.

When I talked to the nurse she immediately told me I was over medicated and went to talked to the Dr..  She came back to the phone and told me that I should go off all meds for 3 days.  At the end of 3 days I should take half of what I was taking  then .  I did that  and got straitened out.  The pills I was taking were a lot stronger than the ones he had given me before.

That is the only time that happened.

Have you ever had problems with your neurologist Millie?  Such as I had to change neurologists because he was overdosing me on medicine where I was seeing double where I finally had to go to a opthomologist which he then forwarded me in to an nueropthomologist where he found he had me overdosed on medicine, and then he said to me "let's see him blow me off" and he blew him off, and then he asked me "who put you on all this medicine", and pretty much said "YOU DID"!

Yes, I plan to stay in.  I guess I don't write much because I am pretty well controlled.

This group has helped me a lot. I've had EP over 50 years now and am taking the
same meds for over 20 years.  I've been very fortunate and have not had a lot of szs.
I have learned a lot here that I didn't know before. And I recognize a lot of the names.

My guess is that I am one of the oldest in the group.  I am now 82.

Hi Millie, Jewl has already bailed out!  Her web sites and other contact info is still good but she has officially "left the building"  & unsubscribed sorry to say. I asked her to check back in with us occasionally! We have fixed the spam issue hopefully for good.
I know you too have been a member and helped many for a long time now so we hope you stay with us & keep at it too!

Hi,
I have been the owner for 14 + years. As of January there has not been much posting and now all I get is spam.
I have us on monitoring. Which mean I look at all the email first before they get posted.
I spend half my day deleting spam. At least 30+ emails a day.
I am sorry but the group no longer talks.
If someone wants to take over ownership just email me.
