Sorry for the late reply.

I'm currently on 200 mg of Tegrital per day which I take before bed. 4 years back when I completed 5 years of surgery, my doc gave me a plan to wean completely off of meds (I had weaned off to 400 mg by then). But I was somehow reluctant to go below 200 (maybe I needed some sort of psychological insurance :-)). I discussed this with my doc and he was fine with it, though he said 200 mg per day is as good as taking nothing at all. He was probably right, because I find I forget to take meds occasionally which I get to know only at the end of the month when I'd have some tabs still left. But fortunately I'm staying seizure-free.
