RE: [epilepsy] Klonopin/Dementia/Alzheimer

Hi Junior, depression and Bi-Polar are linked with Oxidative Stress too.
Geez, what type of tea are you drinking?? Just try drinking a glass or 2 of
water immediately upon waking, before eating etc. It is directly absorbed
and rehydrates us after a long night with no hydration. Does the caffeine
affect you?

Green tea is supposed to be the best and contains the most antioxidant power
of the teas. One problem though with tea is that it is a diuretic, it
dehydrates us like coffee.

C, Many Epi meds are well known to deplete natural body Antioxidants
causing higher levels of Oxidative Stress. Antioxidants are the things our
bodies produce to naturally fight oxidative stress. Oxidative Stress is
recognized as very prevalent factor in Epi AND Alzhiemers. Antioxidants may
/ can help both Epi and Alzheimers. Much research is available on both. They
really have helped my little girl a lot. Here's a piece on Epi:
http://www.irjponline.com/admin/php/uploads/vol2-issue2/9.pdf If you do a
google search on: Alzhiemer's Oxidative Stress >> do it just like that,
you will find much similar info. One of the other most important ways to
fight Oxidative Stress especially for the brain to drink plenty of water
every day. Of course check with a doctor b4 trying anything!

Statistics show even an unrecognizable 1% dehydration can cause a 5%
cognitive decline! Your welcome to email me direct for more if you like.

I'm epileptic since I was 6 years old, I tried all the anti-epileptic drugs
and my seizure decreased a lot with Klonopin only (almost disappeared).

So I take Klonopin for 27 years and lately I read several studies which are
saying that benzos cause dementia/alzheimer.

Is somebody taking klonopin?

I don't want to switch to keppra, I read the side effects and I'm scarred.

Thank you.

Celine
