One thing on pregnancy, sort of ... I was in another group discussing IF, and one lady tried doing it who was rather *underweight*. She didn't do it to lose weight, she just thought she might feel better trying IF. Anyway, it worked. She *gained* weight eating only in a 4-hour window. Which makes me think that when you "heal the appestat", your body just gets a lot better at knowing what it wants, which in some cases might mean gaining weight, not losing it.

Hiya,
I have to say that through an IF Lifestyle, I've ended up pregnant. (I'm about 30 Weeks and 5 Days) A miracle considered I have PCOS and the chances of falling pregnant in the first place was rare in itself.
I'm not exactly doing Fast-5 per-se. I'm only eating when hungry, so sometimes I'll have lunch and dinner, other times just dinner... it depends on my hunger levels. I really can't force myself to eat unless I'm hungry, otherwise I feel sick...
Health-wise, I feel fine and overly energetic. Blood tests come back normal... My polycose test was slightly raised so I ended up taking the Glucose tolerance test that came back normal. The baby appears to be healthy and happy, a strong steady heartbeat etc.
I've gained weight, and it is all baby weight. In fact I didn't look like I was remotely pregnant until my 28th week. Now there is a definite small baby bump. Admittedly I've been concerned about this because compared to everyone else I know who is pregnant. Tummy wise I'm the smallest... yet I've been reassured by my Midwife that measurement wise I'm the correct sizing for Baby's growth.
Other than the lack of the big round pregnant belly, which is more a pregnant hormonal concern than anything... I have nothing I'm overly worried about.
I hope this helps.
