Thanks, Tim. It was mentioned in the eviction letter that their son saw it, so it would probably be him (and just let a paramedic in).
"He was afraid he would choke on his own vomit." So, this easily implies that he did nothing and knows nothing about what to do. They would want someone on their side and they feel that merely letting the paramedics in was the most important. They even told someone that they felt I was "not appreciative" of their help. I wouldn't know who would have helped, so how could I thank someone? Maybe they even think that since my eyes could have been open, I would recognize and understand what I'm seeing? Ridiculous.
I might have mentioned it, but this postponement is a good thing since now the judge has time to go over my full, lengthy statement instead of being hurried. Before next Thursday, I'm going to see if I can get the time set for later in the day. With panic attacks and anxiety, an emptier room is helpful.
I'm actually without a lawyer, but I have the letters from last year in which she explains the specific laws that were violated because of the landlord's letter.
Sometimes, people even say things while during the episode or post-ictal. Maybe the management would say that I cursed or said something rude to them. If I did, I hope the judge will be more knowledgeable about how the brain misfires and anything strange can happen during a seizure. I've heard that people have even stolen things from a store during a seizure. It's so unusual what can happen.
My mom told me that in the past, when I had an episode, I was somewhat awake and aware enough to hold onto a railing outside the building and tell the paramedics and mom "Don't take me to the hospital." My mom said she never heard me say something like that before. I have no memory of it. It's interesting since that is something I would want to usually say, as I've been mistreated in hospitals. I wonder: even though I had an episode, since I still said to not take me and they did anyway, if that was not proper. Well, that's another topic.
People have told me to be proud of myself for all I've done and what I have accomplished even if things don't turn out as I want. I'm really trying.
Perhaps I'll go around to some neighbours here and ask them if they ever witnessed me having a seizure. Hey, I just remembered that one of the people nearby used to be a paramedic. I don't know if he's still here, though, but I'll see if I can find out.
