Erin as far as I know it doesn't. My Megan has obstructive sleep apnea. It just so happens that she only has episodes at night. Stanford Sleep Hospital told me seizures and any sleep disorder are not related. They watched a video we had have Megan's episodes, The Dr. "most in charge" their were several in the room including students said they could play off one another making each worse but that one did not "cause" the other. AS for talking in your sleep Megan walks in her sleep and that we were told is related to sleep apnea. Don't know if it helps you at all but thats al I know :)
Jamie (mom of Megan age 10)
