SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 13, 2011) - Prince, one of the most dynamic and prolific live performers of our time, has drawn massive legions of loyal fans to his historic Welcome 2 America Live tour where he has treated them to the music experience of a lifetime with an epic hit-filled show and unforgettable artistry. Three new shows have been confirmed for Welcome 2 America Live taking place on May 18th in Fresno and May 19th & 21st in San Jose. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, May 14th at 12pm PST at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.
Prince, an artistic force that continues to affect music and pop culture like no other, has welcomed fans into his brilliant and enigmatic musical world with sold out performances at arenas, performing in the round on a uniquely crafted "glyph" symbol stage, creating an unforgettable view for everyone in the house to experience his genius as a live performer and artist. The shows ranging in length, with some in excess of three hours, are filled with a constant stream of hits from Prince's enormous chart topping repertoire and a plethora of surprises that have left fans screaming, singing, dancing and euphorically wanting more.
Prince is currently in the midst of "21 Nite" stand in Los Angeles with 15 dates announced thus far.
