Re: [epilepsy] Keppra ppl



Hi-My name is chuck and I've been ep for about 8 yrs now after a car accident. Anyways I have been taking dilantin,keppra,and clonazapam, for the last couple of yrs. but I deal with sleepiness, dizziness, forgetfulness-(badddd-lol) I'm 37 and I used to have a fairly good memory but with my meds and especially after any seizures I'm real forgetful. Sometimes It takes me awhile to remember how to do things.(I call those times a brain fart-lol.Its forgetfulness at its best. It makes me depressed because I have to rely on others for help as I am still fighting for s.s.i. or some kinda medicaid or medicare whichever one it is.I have problems too with my temper which can explode at times and I hate it.I take things out on those I love. I used to be a happy go lucky type person but, since the seizures have started it has been hard to be that same person. All of those pile up and make life harder than usual. I wish you luck and hope this maybe helps.
P.s. I forgot to include that recently they started me on Citilopram for depression and they just started me on Lamictal so they can wean me off the Dilantin. So I'm not looking forward to the change in meds because I know they have different side effects. Wish you the best...

Can u tell me what side effects affect u? Was wandering if some things that
are goin on with Mindy may actually b a side effect of her meds. Please let
