I'm allergic to coconut, which gives me migraines. Mushrooms commonly used in foods are a little more deadly to me, causing anaphylactic shock. I also have some problems with medicines. Anything codiene based is going to make me nauseous and mean hours of constant itching. Cerebrex causes SEVERE burning itch that feels like having a hive of fire ants inside me when given in an IV. I have problems on phenytoin also, which is unfortunately the only medicine I can afford. Each day the side effects are getting worse. The itch is driving me crazy, I have little or no balance and fall alot. I sleep almost all the time. I can't think. Sometimes my eyesight blurs so badly I can't see to read anything.
With phenytoin, the treatment is definitely worse that the illness.

> I was just wondering if others on this group have allergies to food, chemicals, or environmental sources (weed, pollen, dander, dust, etc)? I am thinking for me what goes along with the seizure disorder, is a hypersensitive brain and nervous system, which has made me prone to multiple allergies most of my life.
