Was your hearing loss and vision due to the seizures?
I recently lost my hearing as of November last year due to my generalized seizures. Its been very hard learning ASL.

Hello 2 everyone here at Epilepsy, I have been unable to post messages because of email problems but now able to chat with you all again, so lets get to know eachother an express our thoughts.
I have had epilepsy for about 17yrs now it all came about one afternoon it was all normal an I was just on the tread-mill at a slow speed and all of a suden I realize this flashing in my eyes in front of me in the wall instantly following it too my left turning my head and the next thing is that I'm being picked-up by the emergency paramedic smelling that strong-stinky oder to revive me, what happend.
I am blind and have a hearing-loss up and untill now my medication has worked well I take Keppra 500-milligrams 2 a day, of course there are side-effects.
