I know I have mentioned this in this group before, but given the
conversation I thought I would mention it again.
Light sensitivity is something that can be an issue for people with
epilepsy. There is now a way to reduce the effects. The neuro
ophthalmologists at the University of Utah developed a special tint
called FL-41 for glasses that was specifically designed for people with
light sensitivity. When I got mine it was amazing!!
I use to have issues riding in cars, the lights between posts, trees,
ect, also the oncoming headlights at night. Now, no problems. Sitting
in rooms with flourescent light fixtures was awful, now not an issue
most of the time. I still have to be careful not to sit facing large
windows in bright sun, and I try to avoid bright screens in dark rooms,
so no movie theaters.
I would recommend anyone having light issues look into them. The tint
is not widely available yet, and just any normal tint won't work. Just
google FL-41 tint and you'll find out about it.
