It was a party fit for a Prince. Billboard took over the rooftop of Hollywood's London Hotel last night and into the wee hours of this morning for its first annual Billboard after-party during Grammy week, presented by Citi and AT&T. Ready to chill out and get down following the three-hour 55th Grammy Awards at downtown L.A.'s Staples Center, the capacity crowd wasn't disappointed. Neil Patrick Harris and E! Records), Charlie Feldman (BMI), Scott McCune (Coca-Cola), Peter Strickland (Warner Bros. Various groupings of black rattan sofas with white cushions and glass-topped tables and chairs invitingly lined thelength of the area, featuring well-stocked bars at each end. Guests took in a 360-degree view of the city while sampling dinner and drinks from Gordon Ramsay at the London. White-curtained VIP cabanas lined the left side; to the right were various seating areas warmed by fires. The dancefloor was packed for most of the evening, and the revelry got so animated that toward the end of the evening -- for the first time ever at a London event -- one of the partygoers jumped in the pool and did several laps. People were so reluctant to leave that the party was extended for an hour beyond its planned closing time. Prince, who arrived late in the party, was joined in one of the cabanas by Werde, Page, manager Julia Ramadan and assistant Nicole Valencia. The party also featured a pop-up photo studio where attendees could stop to get their picture taken – dozens of those photos can be found here.
