Linda Rubino- Bevilacqua My daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy (TLE) when she was 5 yrs old. She is now 8 yrs old. She is having difficulty reading (decoding) I was wondering if anyone has noticed the same thing with their children

I was wondering if stores, like drug stores, or schools in
your area are recognizing this as Purple Month for National
Epilepsy Awareness?

I presently live in NC and it is not recognized here, but
I do recall it being a special month in some other states.
We were from NY, and there used to be even purple street
lights during this time.

I found it a good time to even teach children of the word
and what it means and how to spell it. Just food for thought.
