Thank you Kelly and your information was correct. They did run 8 different tests in the er and I did lose motor function speech. They directed me to a speech pathologist. Just can't believe you can get a seizure affecting both parts of the brain at once. The only good news is they said it wasn't a stroke nor any blood clots traveling to the brain. Thank the good Lord on that but this is all a very rude awakening. Just doing my best to go with these changes in my speech or lack of.

It is possible, though I never had it happen to me. Depending on the
area of the brain the seizure originates from it may affect the speech
centers of the brain more then another seizure would. I would make sure
your neurologist knows about it even if you don't visit the ER. It is
always good to update you neurologist with anything new that occurs.
