Re: [epilepsy] Re: Hello, new group member-seizure questions/Hello Millie :)

Hello Millie  :)

How are you doing? How did your weekend treat you? Fall is going to fly by I think however this is my favorite season! ;0)

Yes, our family lives north of Cincinnati, Ohio so you are only one state over. Indiana is a beautiful state and love all the flat land. Untouched land too! Way much construction and shops, etc we don't need around here. I miss all the trees, etc. Looking to move out west hoping by early Spring next year. I do like my nature and land! :)

Terribly sorry to hear about your divorce. Have you met anyone since then or any potentials?

How wonderful such a huge family! That is very neat!! How often do you get to see the kids and great grandchildren?

Wow! We have something else in common, I will also be celebrating a birthday next month. What day were you born? You have me pinned on the age too! heeheeheehee ;0)

Doesn't hurt to always been safe than sorry. I have a cane and wheelchair when needed due to my other medical condition that can make me very sick and weak. I also have to do treatments each week that knock the wind out of you. Do you have a lot of retailers around where you live? I bet you have many friends where you live. :) The place just sounds huge! Even an exercise room?! Wow, that is not only handy but a great way as you also mentioned to strengthen your arms and legs. :)

Is the church you attend nearby? I miss going to church but with my health and these darn seizures lately my sleep has been all over the place. Did you also get very agitated and moody before a seizure? I sometimes get that like today with a few other auras. Nausea is the worst! :(

Our son is 5 years old. He just started Kindergarten.

My seizures started over 4 years ago as simple and complex now they are more frequent and more violent. I get auras between 3-4 days a week now and full blown seizures once a week to sometimes every other week.

Any plans for the upcoming Halloween? Passing out candy here at home this year. We had a huge gathering last year so laying low, taking it easy this time around.

Many Blessings,
Lynn *:0)

Hello Millie :)

That is good you didn't drive when you had active seizures. What part of Indy did you live? I live in Ohio. The snow can be very bad but its been a dry past few winters.

Wonderful and rewarding career being a health care home Aid. I also do miss working after the seizures and gi issues put me on SSD almost three years ago. I try to do my best keeping my mind busy. :)

Wow! that is an awful lot of people but a great way to always have someone to talk to and friends. I was such a people person but glad now to have my Hubby, our Son and fur kids.

Same here, headaches and migraines with my seizures. Bad combination as you clearly know from experience. Sure will put you down for quite a few days. :(

Lost count of all the meds they had me try through out the past four years but nothing worked or they made things much worse, risks outweighed the benefits.

Do your children live in state or nearby? Any Grandchildren?

Good for you being proactive and not hiding EP because its very important and knowledge is power for everyone.

Praying you have a blessed week and thank you for being my new EP friend.

-Lynn
