Lori, There's a name for that, my brother did that at night as a kid and was
nearly bald. Try cross referencing Lamictal with Trichotillomania

Subject: [epilepsy] Lamictal causing hair pulling
Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone has had a side effect of hair pulling while on
Lamictal?
Ainsley (now 23 years old) has been on Lamictal for over a year (very low
dose) and her hair pulling began (coincidentally) when she started that
drug. She is only on 150 mgs AM and 150 mgs PM. This morning she pulled out
a huge chunk of her hair and I am at my wits end with this.
Any thoughts? Oh, the hair pulling occurs at night, or possibly when she
first wakes up in the morning.
Thanks for any help ...
Lori
