thank you all so much for the information. it has helped so much! when my neuro told me she thought i had been faking i was devasted. i am on disablity and i fear losing this. i haven't been able to hold a job for going on six years now. my review is coming up and i still have seizures almost every other day. trish what you said hit home i have a great deal of stress in my life so some seizures are pseudo. i feel the neuro was totally wrong to tell me i was faking and discounting the fact that it is still a medical condition. just the word faking is horrible to someone with a real problem. i did some research, there is an epileptologist:) in my area but no epileptic psychiatrist:(. although the counselor i work with has said she can help me when i relayed what you had told me. i've been paying more attention to them to see which are "actual" and which are just my brain saying "whoa...overload! we need a break!"
