RE: [epilepsy] medical discount

 

People should request a Medically necessary discounted rate due to the need
to maintain a proper temperature controlled environment, in our area it is
called a Medical Baseline Allowance.

I called my power company and they said they do not offer this. My
power company however is a co operative, so this may effect this
decision. I would urge anyone on this list who knows that heat effects
them and would benefit form keeping their house cooler to call their
power supplier and find out. I am still going to call my Dr. and ask
her to write a letter for me and give it to them anyway, since this
could potentially made on an individual basis.
