Nedra,
all computers have a brightness control. You can usually find a key on
the keyboard that has a little sunburst on it, and you usually have to
hit the ALT key or a special key that matches to it. On my ACER for
example the sunburst is blue and matches to a blue key that says FN on
it. When I hit the up or down and the FN together it changes the
brightness. Sometimes the brightness is found in control panel as well.
