Re: [epilepsy] Re: Seizures and depression

Matt,

Everything that is said here about M-word by that pile of crap/sh__,it/she keeps telling us about benefits of M-words.I have seizures and certain doctors seem to a true benefit along with their ideas.Has any doctor ever mentioned a low M-word level being caused by AEDs or anything about that stuff? It almost sounds as though someone's emails shouldn't be presented in front of us,so we won't be lied to over and over again.

Shan,

Please e-mail me the research that supports your hypothesis. Like I have said before, every one of us have seizures because of different reasons. To state that ALL seizures are a cause of magnesium deficiency is laughable at best. But just to amuse you, I will have my magnesium levels checked as you have suggested, and report back to you.

For the rest of you, if it sounds too good to be true it always is. I supplement my body heavily with magnesium and have on occasion used the cream that is supposed to absorb easier, without any change in my symptoms. I grow tired of this snake-oil salesman, how about the rest of you?

The anticonvulsants all deplete magnesium - depression is associated with magnesium deficiency. Get your magnesium levels up and you won't get depressed, won't have a lot of anziety and will sleep better. You will be less irritated as well as less aggressive. Magnesium is also used to cure headaches - migraines are a symptom of magnesium deficiency and can be alleviated with magnesium.

In fact most of the symptoms of the people here on this groups are symptoms of magnesium deficiiency - which to me is not surprising as you all take drugs everyday that deplete magnesium.

My wife says she can always tell when I am going to have a bad aura during the day because of how I am feeling. I also get extremely irritable, have really bad headaches, and generally feel overstimulated all of the time.
