Re: [epilepsy] Generic Keppra:

Give it time ... I am no doctor by any means but don't think it is going to clear it up and be completely gone
forever. Nor is that much time to even see that much change. Of course you are different from me and my brain
yours...this is just how my brain likes to work. May go on a vacation for a while but you never know .. just
one of those things that happens and have to be prepared. Mine went on vacation for 7-8yr with no seizures
what so ever. They did come back and a different kind showing up and not the same strength. Strange eh. This
is why I do keep taking some medication.
Take a look at www.medlineplus.gov/ and click on meds. Check out all what they say about the generic version.
May give you some clues what to ask the Dr on your follow-up. If I remember right it is not meant to be a
single med given but with others. Just ask about that and see what they see. Would be interesting to know.
Keep relaxed
Keep Smiling
Have a good weekend

Subject: [epilepsy] Generic Keppra:

Just how many people have problems with the generic version (Levetiracetam) of Keppra? I saw a (totally
unrelated to Epilepsy) Dr yesterday, and the Nurse told me that she has a brother that when he has taken
generic Keppra that he still has his seizures. Unfortunately, I still have my seizures being on the . The
medication has made a serious improvement on me, but having taken it nearly a month, I would have thought the
seizures would have been completely gone. I have the Petite Mal Seizures, so I dont have the worst ones, but
still this irritates me.

I need some information to discuss over with my DR for follow up on June 7. If there is lots of problems with
the generics, I would like to be able to come up with the information to give the doc, so I am not going in
without good info. They will probably already know, but the more I know when I go in the better. I just want
this crap to stop, or not occur as often as it is happening now.

Thank you.
Scott
