[epilepsy] Thank you so very very much

 

Hi!

I have epilepsy and take sodium valproate which is also epival. I don't think there are newrologists in Sri Lanka that treat my condition as it's a third world country, but yes, there are psychiatrists and counselors. My epilepsy is what caused my depression and uncomfortable muscle problems so this is why I have to take valproate or lamotrigine as they are anticonvulsants. I am blind in both eyes and use a computer that talks.

Sounds like you are struggling with life right  now.  Since this is an epilepsy group, I am wondering if one or the other problems you are mentioning are caused by epilepsy?  And I can tell you are frustrated by the lack of nearby doctors.

 

As well as family problems.

 

Are there neurologists or epileptologists that you can get to by any ways-public, walking, driving if you can.....
