Good morning Susan, I recall you're from Jersey too, how was that that storm
this week? Sorry to hear this but it does sound like you may have had a
seizure in your sleep possibly. Personally I can't say but we do notice our
daughter will seem to have lost academic progress when she has a couple
seizures so this may be what happened to you. Just last night I submitted a
paper to the Epilepsy Therapy Project for the annual "Shark Contest" for
info and ideas on complimentary Epi control. There is currently very much
scientific research going into the role of Oxidative Stress in seizures.
Computer screens emit high amounts of EMF's that literally hit us right in
the head, bad electrical energy which increase free radicals that cause
Oxidative Stress. It is also a major contributing factor in many disease
conditions especially neurological ones. More important than our diet,
although we know how important diet is for seizures, is proper hydration and
antioxidants. Sounds all too simple at times but maybe with all the computer
exposure and work you also weren't drinking enough good water? It is also
well reported that a small unrecognizable 2% loss of hydration can result in
a 5% loss of cognitive ability. Email me direct and I'll send you a copy of
my submittal. Aina-pat@cox.net
Here is a study just completed last month

Subject: [epilepsy] CAUSES AND SYMPTOMS OF SEIZURES
Last weekend I was overly tired and spent most of the weekend watching TV
for like over 8 hours and sleeping past my usual wake up time of 8am. I
also spent alot of time on the computer that week at work w/out taking a
break.
I woke up the Tuesday after MLK Day and forgot how to do my job, I forgot
all my passwords and recent events. I am still recovering.
1) Are those causes of seizures and...
2) Can you lose your memory when U have seizure activity? I didn't have
a seizure,per se, but I lost time.
Any help or advise will help. I don't really know what causes seizures
except: light or loud noise from a concert or not eating/sleeping. Thanks
so much!
