Re: [epilepsy] Lamictal and insomnia

Well I had to respond as I have been on Lamictal for about 3 years now and, since then have been put on Trazadone for my sleep Insomnia but, I still have problems staying asleep. Whats nice about Lamictal is I have gone from a 5 Gran mal seizures a month if not more to almost none at all!!. I will be watching for other responces as I have heard that epileptics have a shorter life span as a result of medications so this really caught my attention.. Thank you Doris for bringing this question to light as I have wondered about, both my sleep insomnia as well as lifespan for along time and it's very stressful thinking about these side effects.
