[epilepsy] Lamictal and insomnia

 

As a Lamictal user, I have difficulty going to sleep or staying asleep. Since my seizures are nocturnal only, I think the apprehension of this happening is part of the difficulty falling asleep. I have
had left temporal surgery and in ways I am glad I did since seizures
changed from day-only to when asleep only. I wonder if life span
is affected at all. Direction to information is appreciated.
