I have a question: I will be turning er, hum....50 this year and I am having a terrible time w/memory, only short term. I remember what I did over the weekend if its a few days later, I remember holidays months after they happen...I remember to do assignments and need to write down everythign! It has been two years since my last seizure- does anyone else have memory problems and does it get better?
I'm on alot of meds; i.e., 900 Trileptol, Gabapentin, Naproxen, Buspar, Paxil and Inderol which may be a factor. Any suggestions? I don't want to be in a nursing home before I'm 60

Subject: [epilepsy] Memory post left temporal
If by chance you experience difficulty with memory post this surgery,
are you ever apprehensive wondering if this will continue to get
worse, or does it come to a spot and just settle for that. Current
memory is definately noticeable and thoughts of continuing to effort
bluffing this is scary to me. Tips on things you might have done
to help with memory would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
