Re: [fast5] Is diet soda slowing me down?

Well, 2 lbs is just a little below one pound a week, which is generally a good rate.

Keep in mind that when you lose "weight", you ideally want most of the weight lost
to be fat. Fat doesn't actually weigh very much: it's like styrofoam for the
body. A lot of what you see on the scale during "weight loss" is the water
that is lost along with the fat.

It can take 5 weeks or so for the body to adjust to a new way of eating too,
at which point your appestat will change, and you'll start wanting to eat
differently probably. You may find you really don't want or need the diet
sodas even. I used to drink a LOT of diet sodas, but these days I can't
stand them, and neither can my family (we had to toss out like half
a case of them that had been in the cupboard for years).

Hi!

This is my 3rd week doing Fast 5 and not noticing a whole lot of weightloss.I have lost 2 lbs so far and that is good but is it supposed to be that slow? Could it be the diet soda I am drinking outside my window?

I don't follow any certain diet during my window, just eat whatever I want and make sure I stop when I am full but not stuffed.

Does it take a while before your body starts dropping weight?

Thanks!

Rhonda
