[epilepsy] Re: considering going off trileptal

Hi Again Kelly (smile),

Since your seizures aren't under full control, it really wouldn't hurt simply to try and see how your seizures are affected by reducing your med dosage per day. If you do try it, please be careful. If your seizures increase, then go back to the dosage you are on now. keep us up to date on if you try it or not. Simply trying it might bring peace to mind on if you should or not reduce your dosage. best of luck if you try it Kelly. Take care, keep a smile on your face.

My reason for that is I'm not cured of epilepsy, and, seizure can come back. So, I want to stay on my meds. as back up in case a seizure try's to develop. Call me crazy but I know enough people who's seizures have come back years after surgery, one friend 10 years after surgery. So, no way will I decrease my meds because of how much my life has changed in positive ways since surgery.
