I saw the orginal video of the whole beating. The video started back by the bathroom and they dragged her by her hair up to the front door. They kicked and stomped on her repeatedly. The victim didn't do anything aggressive towards the attackers that I saw on the video. That is where she had the seizure. She was on the floor for most of the beating. One older woman DID do something. They were in the middle of the dining room and she walked up and said leave her alone, stop. They hit the older woman. No MacDonald's employee stepped in. They say it is their policy which I can kind of understand but on the video you can clearly hear the employee who is video taping laughing and near the end say the police are coming and telling the two women who beat the victim to run to avoid the police. I saw an interview with the victim. It isn't clear if it was racially motivated ( victim white and beaters black) or if one of the aggressors remarked that the victim said something to her boyfriend, or a if it was a transgendered issue. In listening to the interview with the victim, I had no idea she was a transgendered person by her voice or appearance. Please excuse me if I am stating this inappropriately, I do not mean any offense to any gay or transgendered members. But if I saw this woman in the ladies bathroom, it won't have occurred to me that she wasn't female. Again, I mean no offense. I just mean to state that I don't see what triggered this horrible beating.
I am glad they caught the attackers. It is frightening to think that those individuals felt free to do that to a person.
I looked for the original video and it has been removed. Yeah it was that bad. But here is the article with some pictures and an interview with the victim.
