Subject: [epilepsy] Pills dosage blood tests
Hello all!
I was just curious to know a simple thing: how do you check if you are taking
too much of your pill?
In my country (Italy) I periodically take a specific blood test to dose my pill,
to see if the quantity in my blood is enough, too much or too few. Do you have
such tests in your countries too?
I ask this dumb question because speaking with a Bulgarian friend, who also has
epilepsy, she told me that she never took such tests and her doctors (she had
more than one neurologist) never asked her to take them. So I wondered how they
could decide how many pills she had to take?
Thanks for your attention and best wishes for a seizure free life.
Daniel
