In one way or another, Prince seems to always have his boot in the door, so to speak, in the world of music today. This book offers some insight into the why and how of this phenomenon. Critical without being dry or boring, these guys hit many angles regarding some of Prince's business moves and how they may or may not have effected the life of his music. I found the discussions passionate, extremely original, and engaging. If you are down for some thought provoking talk over an artist whose career has spanned 40 years (hard core fan or not!), read this. Personally, I loved it and I'm ready for more. |
