Hi Doris
So sorry to hear about your extra seizure in there. Are you keeping a diary...it just may be that you have
more during the hot summer months than other times of the year...check it out and compare. I know what you
mean that even the heat inside the house can give me a dilly of a headache which can end up in funny little
seizures, or big ones if they wish. I usually have windows open should there be a nice breeze and fans going
as well. We only have window air conditioners and so far haven't needed them but now not sure. It is now
turning hot and humid again. I wish I did have a suggestion of what can help with the fear of going to sleep.
I have one med that swear makes me sleepy during the day as well and have to keep super busy or will have that
cat nap during the day. It is just as dangerous for me.
Will watch the responses and see should any have suggestions about the fear of going to sleep at night.
One thing I do like doing that can suggest is play some quiet music that you like. Course I am musical and I
can get right into it and my mind starts singing the song right along with it and forgets about what may
happen should I fall asleep.

Subject: [epilepsy] Second seizure this month
Last night when asleep, I had a dilly of seizure. This is the
second time this happened since the last one on the 9th of this month.
My husband gives me lorazepam and it makes it so they do not repeat immediately. That has happened before. I
awake with dilly of headache, but time makes this get better.
If you might have suggestion of what to help with the fear of going to sleep. This is a tiny thing, but it is
scary to me.
Thanks for reading this and have a nice hot summer day.
Doris :-)
