Sam,
He seems to be a ver good doctor.First visited NYU's Comprehensive Epilepy Center to see him on 11/2/09.Then a brain MRI was performed by a local hospital here in Baltimore two weeks before I had a five day VEEG at a NYU hospital in manhatten 11/30-12/6/09.Prior to this I was taking Vimpat&Lyrica now its Vimpat&Keppra XR,the change reduced my seizure frequency in half.I was back this spring, and he asked that I have a 72 hr. ambulatory EEG and WADA before he decides of a posible second brain surgery. If he decides it to be a good chance of eliminating seizures I'll might go with it.But I'll need more time to find out if I'm aware of any seizures, there may be some occurring without me knowing of them.I think the 72hr. ambulatory EEG will show how many I did have compared to I many I think I had.

Subject: [epilepsy] Dr. Devinsky
How is Dr. Devinsky doing these days? I was a test patient of his, back in NYC,on felbetol before it killed all those people. I am in Chicago now, 20 years later, married with 2 kids and still uncontrolled seizures. 3 months ago I had the Vagal Nerve Stimulator implanted and am going through the first year of adjustments. It has stopped some attacks but I am still having 2-3 gran mals a week.
