Re: [fast5] Re: Are you following a diet plan?

I was on that dose too. Like I said it is undocumented the side affect that I was going through. You are right to explore other options. If it makes u feel bad then it is time to look for something else. I don't like drugs and am hoping to get off the rest of mine.

Interesting thought. I am non-insulin resistant PCOS so I have never been sure about how the Metformin helps me or why they put me on it. It seems to work though, I was having annovulation which was causing me to have cysts, etc. and after a month of Metformin I'm as regular as can be and the cysts are going away. Could be a coincidence too though.

But I can tell you that I gained about 10 pounds when I started taking it without any lifestyle changes (and another 10 pounds when I weaned my son!) but didn't really put two and two together until now. I'm also on a very low dose, only 850mg once a day. Perhaps it is worth talking to my Dr. to see if I would do well not taking it. Most literature says that anything lower than 1,000 mg per day is a placebo dose anyhow. And it makes me feel awful. That's why I only take the 850, I'm supposed to take 1,700 mg but I can't!

Thanks so much for responding, you made a lightbulb click in my head!

I see so many people on the FB group who are losing weight and losing inches fairly early on and it gets me discouraged because I am gaining weight and definitely not losing inches, my pants have never been tighter! I just started week three, I started this WOE on April 19th. I am willing to give it time but I guess I don't know what I'm doing wrong??

To be honest though sometimes even if I'm not hungry, I reach for seconds and end up way too full. So maybe this is my problem.

With my PCOS I do have to watch my carbs and try hard to eat mostly low Glycemic Index foods but I've sort of been eating whatever I want since being on this plan.
