[epilepsy] Re: seizures caused by myelin breakdown

This is the first I have heard of this. I have been tested so many
times for various auto immune disorders. I have so many symptoms. My
husband likes to say I have all the symptoms of an auto immune disorder
except one-the diagnosis! I would wonder how seizures caused my a
breakdown in myelin would show on an an eeg. I am post right temporal
lobectomy and my seizures were once every 5 weeks for a little while
then they ramped up starting aobut 8 months ago-and did so quickly.
About that same time I developed raynauds (typical of auto immune
disorders but possible to get alone) and also got some other weird
symptoms they never figured out. All the tests were negative. Good
however no answers. Been down that road before as my seizures went
undiagnosed a the beginning for a year--hence how they most likely ended
up being intractable!
