I wanted to say to all those considering leaving, I have been a member
of this group nearly 4 years, since I was first diagnosed and freaking
out about what I would do next. This group took me through the awful
parts of having up to 12 seizures a day when i was just reading and not
posting much., it took me through my surgery prep, then surgery, the
post surgery recovery. This group understood what I was gong through
the whole time. This group knew what I meant what I was worried about
all sorts of strange things. Now that I am getting ready to start the
testing process for another surgery over again---I would never consider
leaving this group!!! Do we have our moments, do we argue do we bicker,
sure but what group of friends doesn't????
Do we have the occasional moments when we forget that some of us have
been here so long there are those who can't figure out what in the world
we are talking about> sure. Do we have times when we have nothing to
talk about~~yup. Then there are those times we can't shut up because
someone needs the rest of us so badly that everyone rallies around them
and thats the point. We are here when someone needs us. Sometimes in
the in between times things get a little weird and haywire, but we still
get it right when we need to.
So i will stick around because I know when the day comes that I post
something that needs answering, or that I just have to hear someone else
thought that too, or felt that way~~~~~~~~~the answer will be there.
