Have you ever watched a cat or dog sleep? I think there is a connection between dreaming and going in and out of dream states that can cause someone to twitch. I'm not saying this isn't relates to the SZ activity, it may well be but I also think there is a normal amount that should not be related just because the person twitches in their sleep. I would check with your doctor and during a EEG, I know they like you to fall asleep in order to measure some of those brain waves. He may be able to relate more to what is happening. Also, try to video her sleeping and show it to him. That may also help.

Melody is 8 months and on Trileptal once a day for this week then twice a day starting next week. When should we see the Seizures die down a little? Shes still seizing pretty bad. I mean its like their getting worse in some aspects she had them more yesterday then she has ever at home and far as i know shes not sick. No fevers or anything.
How concerned should i be with my 2 year old and Epilepsy? She did this weird jerking/twitching in her whole body last night in her sleep ..She hasnt done it this afternoon during her nap.But it scared me yet i dont want to be one of them moms that run to the E.R. just becuase my baby has Seizures and she moves the wrong way. She has Horriable night terrors. So that might have been it.
