Re: [epilepsy] TOPIRAMATE, GENERIC TOPAMAX

Yes topamax may be given as a migrain reliever. I know because as soon as they took away my topamax the migrains started again. So I am hoping my regular Doc. will put me back on it.

ok, here is my question. My daughter has ep and takes depakote and it is working very very well. I have been having extreme migranes, vertigo, and other stuff and the same doctor gave me generic topamax to take to try to alleviate this pain. I dont have ep. Has anyone else heard of this? It kind of scares me to take an anti-convulsive med when i dont have seizures. Any feedback is appreciated! !!!!
