I take Topamax and have had EP since age 15. If I do not take my meds or miss a dose I have migranes. My uncle was dxed with severe migranes 2 yrs. ago no signs of EP and he was given Topamax. He says it has releived his migraines.

ok, here is my question. My daughter has ep and takes depakote and it is working very very well. I have been having extreme migranes, vertigo, and other stuff and the same doctor gave me generic topamax to take to try to alleviate this pain. I dont have ep. Has anyone else heard of this? It kind of scares me to take an anti-convulsive med when i dont have seizures. Any feedback is appreciated! !!!!
