I have apply for ssi 3 times and they turn her down, because the doctor stated in her file that she was no longer having seziures, but the attorney we got the doctor stated on her paper that she was having seziures, in fact my child was having seziures everyday but the doctor she had did not tell me that she was having absence petit mal. Because I knew how the grandmom seziures was I did not know about how the absence seziures was. He did not do any mri or eeg in 3 years to look at her brain waves. All he want to do was this new medication where he go inside of her head and run a tube to a medication pack on her side. And i ask him would it stop her seziures and he said no, she will still have to take other medication.

Well for health coverage try to get either healthy families if they offer it in your state or if you live in california try to apply for either ccs (California Children Services). You could also try to apply for the social security if this case be suitable for you and your daughter go right ahead. I have ccs by now, until I am 21 then I would apply for medical on my own as an independent Good Luck and I hope that it could be helpful my suggestions.

Well, they don't want give my daughter ssi, she have been having seziure all her life. She is 11 years old now and I am still trying, I can not work, because of the seziure plus the medication she is on. I have change doctors. My child loss weight because of my medication and ssi say it's anything wrong with her, and she will grow out of it.
