Is the best an most the clinic or professional medical Doctor' really can do for you?
thou: have they or not fully medical an aware of epilepsy as a professional?
have you seekd a 2nd opinion to be fully correct of the matter?
what do family an friends near-by say?
their are good doctors and highly qualifyed physicans of all types of medical-needs in every hospital.
have you had contact with the Epilepsy foundation of; Florida?

I have had several friends seen with them, and not need to travel - for better care...

subject: [epilepsy] Transportation Problem

Hi.. I was wondering if anyone here has had the problem which I have right now.

I have been having seizures for years, and am on Disability for the past 2 years.

My neurologist wants to send me from Orlando to Gainesville for further testing (within the next few days).

Obviously, I no longer have a license, car or any other method of transportation to get there. Even Amtrak has no routes that would help.

Has anyone here been in this situation before? And if so, what was the solution? Does Disability or the Epilepsy Assn help out?

Thanks,
Vinnie
