I need to raise funds to produce GREETING EPILEPSY. A documentary where people will reveal their 'person' the history and type(s) of attacks they have, and then re-call their most memorable attack in public. What was it. Where was it. Who was around them. What did they do.
Some events will be tragic. Some will be shocking. Some will be emotional. Some will even anger the viewer while some may make us all laugh.
But all will attract and educate the general public as they realize what it is and how it lives all around them, along with those of us who live in it.
No other documentary has ever done this. They have always just told a story of one of us who died or one or two of us who suffer so badly that they cannot live with society. These stories only interest us. Not those outside our circle and so those documentaries have never opened the eyes of the people that we live with.
The Epilepsy Foundation refuses to give me the contact of people and companies that make donations to the foundation claiming that any funds given to my project will just be subtracted from what they will receive next year.
